Roller bearing inner rings

Roller bearing is one of the rolling bearings, which is widely used in modern machinery. It relies on rolling contact between the main components to support the rotating parts. Roller bearings are now mostly standardized. Roller bearings have the advantages of small starting moment, high rotation accuracy and convenient selection.

When selecting bearings, the main considerations are as follows:
 
Load of Bearing
 
The magnitude, direction and properties of the loads on bearings are the main factors for selecting bearings.
 
When choosing bearings according to the load, the main components of roller bearings are line contact, which is easy to bear load, and the deformation after bearing is smaller than the point contact of ball bearings.
 
When choosing bearings according to load direction, thrust bearings are generally chosen for pure axial load. Thrust roller bearings are selected for larger axial force. Thrust ball bearings are selected for smaller axial force. For pure radial loads, deep groove ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings or needle bearings are generally used. Deep groove ball bearings or tapered roller bearings can be selected when bearing radial load and small axial load. Angular contact ball bearings or tapered roller bearings with large contact angle can be selected when the axial load is large.
Speed of Bearing
 
Generally speaking, the rotational speed will not affect the selection of bearing type, but when the rotational speed is large, the rotational speed should be included in the criterion of bearing selection.
 
(1) Compared with roller bearings, ball bearings have higher limit speed, so in the case of high speed, ball bearings should be given priority.
 
(2) Under the same inner diameter, the smaller the outer diameter is, the smaller the rolling element is. Therefore, the centrifugal force added to the outer ring of the rolling element is smaller, so it is more suitable for working at high speed. According to the properties given in Table 1, needle roller bearings are more suitable for working at high speed.
Center of alignment performance of bearings
 
When the center line of the shaft does not coincide with the center line of the bearing seat and has angular error, or when the axis is bent or inclined due to the force exerted by the shaft, the axis of the inner and outer rings of the bearing will deflect. At this time, a self-aligning bearing or a spherical ball bearing with a seat should be adopted.
 
Roller bearings are most sensitive to the deflection of bearings. The bearing capacity under deflection may be lower than that of ball bearings. Therefore, the use of such bearings should be avoided as far as possible when the stiffness of the shaft and the support stiffness of the bearing seat holes are low or when the deflection moment is large.
Bearing Installation and Disassembly
 
When the bearing seat has no splitting surface and must be installed and disassembled along the axis, the bearings with separable inner and outer rings (such as N0000, NA0000, 30000, etc.) should be preferred.
